Frequently asked questions

Is infant massage safe for newborns?

Yes. All techniques are gentle, age-appropriate, and rooted in professional therapeutic practice. You’ll also learn when to pause or adjust based on your baby’s cues. Infant massage is for any age, though as they get older you may need to adjust expectation of stillness so small moments of massage may be a better practice. No two infants are the same.

How long does each lesson take?

Most lessons are short and digestible, designed to fit into real life with a baby — full body massage is a tad longer and stomach massage shorter, all videos are pausable so you can watch ahead or work with baby as you watch, the beauty is in the flexibility of this online course.

Do I need oils or special equipment?

No. You’ll learn what’s optional and what works best for sensitive infant skin. Everything is optional, and geared to whatever your baby needs.

Can both parents participate?

Absolutely. The course encourages shared bonding and is designed for all caregivers. It works especially well for non primary parents as well to infuse extra connection and bonding.

What if my baby resists at first?

You’ll learn how to read cues and adapt. Infant massage is responsive — never forced. We go with the flow of what baby is telling us at all times, learn when to and not to massage baby.
